最近加入了一个本地activists网络,和大家一起度过了economic blackout day和几个boycotting amazon周末,想着要怎样将这些行动更进一步时正好听到一期关于buy nothing的播客,那么没有比现在更好的时机了。
no buy是相对低门槛、普通人也能做的抗争,还可以兼顾sustainability和省钱。no buy year听起来需要太强的自制力,三个月的soft start听起来蛮可行,以下是我的no buy rule(revised from from https://nourishingminimalism.com/no-buy-year/):

Necessities/Yes Buy
- Groceries(local small businesses/co-op)
- Medicine and healthcare items
- Bills and utilities
- Basic replacements for completely used-up essentials
- Emergency repairs
- 驾校
- donation
- 一个月可以在local restaurants外食1-2次
No Buy
- Commute
- 除极端天气外不打车
- Clothing and accessories
- No new clothes unless replacing completely worn-out essential items
- No jewelry, accessories, or fashion bags (感觉蛮容易执行?)
- No new yarn (只有当已开新的 projects需要新线时才可以买!!)
- Beauty/personal care
- No new makeup (洒洒水)
- No skincare unless replacing completely worn-out essential items
- No shampoo unless replacing completely worn-out ones(我真的太爱买洗发水……)
- No new gym membership (除了现有的reformer课和日常weightlifting外不再新加routine)
- 旅行时不在机场买东西
- Home goods
- No decorative items
- Entertainment
- No new books (图书馆&libby&朋友)
- No new electronics (只要我不丢手机……)
- No streaming subscriptions except MUBI(还是想看电影)
真正执行起来可能不会这么直接,但摔倒了再爬起来是每个行动者的必修课!后续有想起来的再补充。
